   TORNADO WATCH NUMBER 4
   NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER NORMAN OK
   635 PM EST WED FEB 25 2015

   THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A

   * TORNADO WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF 
     CENTRAL AND EASTERN FLORIDA PANHANDLE
     SOUTHWEST GEORGIA
     COASTAL WATERS

   * EFFECTIVE THIS WEDNESDAY NIGHT FROM 635 PM UNTIL MIDNIGHT EST.

   * PRIMARY THREATS INCLUDE...
     A COUPLE TORNADOES POSSIBLE
     ISOLATED DAMAGING WIND GUSTS TO 70 MPH POSSIBLE

   THE TORNADO WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 50 STATUTE
   MILES EAST AND WEST OF A LINE FROM 20 MILES EAST SOUTHEAST OF
   APALACHICOLA FLORIDA TO 35 MILES WEST NORTHWEST OF VALDOSTA
   GEORGIA.  FOR A COMPLETE DEPICTION OF THE WATCH SEE THE

   PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

   REMEMBER...A TORNADO WATCH MEANS CONDITIONS ARE FAVORABLE FOR
   TORNADOES AND SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS IN AND CLOSE TO THE WATCH
   AREA. PERSONS IN THESE AREAS SHOULD BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR
   THREATENING WEATHER CONDITIONS AND LISTEN FOR LATER STATEMENTS
   AND POSSIBLE WARNINGS.

   DISCUSSION...THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO INCREASE IN COVERAGE AND
   INTENSITY THIS EVENING AHEAD OF A SURFACE LOW AND COLD FRONT
   TRACKING ACROSS THE AREA. STRONG VERTICAL SHEAR WILL BE FAVORABLE
   FOR SUPERCELLS AND BOWING STRUCTURES CAPABLE OF A COUPLE OF
   TORNADOES AND/OR LOCALLY DAMAGING WIND GUSTS.

   AVIATION...TORNADOES AND A FEW SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WITH HAIL
   SURFACE AND ALOFT TO 0.5 INCH. EXTREME TURBULENCE AND SURFACE
   WIND GUSTS TO 60 KNOTS. A FEW CUMULONIMBI WITH MAXIMUM TOPS TO
   400. MEAN STORM MOTION VECTOR 24035.
