   NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER NORMAN OK
   930 AM CST MON FEB 15 2016

   THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A

   * TORNADO WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF 
     SOUTHERN AND CENTRAL LOUISIANA
     SOUTHERN AND EASTERN MISSISSIPPI
     COASTAL WATERS

   * EFFECTIVE THIS MONDAY MORNING AND EVENING FROM 930 AM UNTIL 600
     PM CST.

   * PRIMARY THREATS INCLUDE...
     A COUPLE TORNADOES POSSIBLE
     SCATTERED DAMAGING WIND GUSTS TO 70 MPH POSSIBLE
     ISOLATED LARGE HAIL EVENTS TO 1.5 INCHES IN DIAMETER POSSIBLE

   SUMMARY...THUNDERSTORMS EXPECTED TO STRENGTHEN OVER PARTS OF
   LOUISIANA AND MISSISSIPPI THROUGH LATE AFTERNOON...A FEW OF WHICH
   COULD PRODUCE TORNADOES...DAMAGING WIND...AND HAIL.

   THE TORNADO WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 80 STATUTE
   MILES NORTH AND SOUTH OF A LINE FROM 20 MILES EAST OF MERIDIAN
   MISSISSIPPI TO 15 MILES SOUTH OF LAKE CHARLES LOUISIANA.  FOR A

   TORNADOES AND SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS IN AND CLOSE TO THE WATCH
   AREA. PERSONS IN THESE AREAS SHOULD BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR
   THREATENING WEATHER CONDITIONS AND LISTEN FOR LATER STATEMENTS
