   TORNADO WATCH NUMBER 131
   NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER NORMAN OK
   755 PM CDT MON MAY 4 2015

   THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A

   * TORNADO WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF 
     WESTERN TEXAS

   * EFFECTIVE THIS MONDAY NIGHT AND TUESDAY MORNING FROM 755 PM
     UNTIL 200 AM CDT.

   * PRIMARY THREATS INCLUDE...
     A COUPLE TORNADOES POSSIBLE
     ISOLATED VERY LARGE HAIL EVENTS TO 2.5 INCHES IN DIAMETER
       POSSIBLE
     ISOLATED DAMAGING WIND GUSTS TO 70 MPH POSSIBLE

   SUMMARY...STRONG/LOCALLY SEVERE STORMS WILL CONTINUE AFFECTING PARTS
   OF WESTERN TEXAS INCLUDING THE TRANS-PECOS REGION THIS EVENING. 
   LARGE HAIL AND LOCALLY DAMAGING WINDS WILL BE POSSIBLE...ALONG WITH
   A TORNADO OR TWO.

   THE TORNADO WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 70 STATUTE
   MILES EAST AND WEST OF A LINE FROM 40 MILES NORTHEAST OF WINK
   TEXAS TO 35 MILES SOUTH SOUTHWEST OF DRYDEN TEXAS.  FOR A

   PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

   REMEMBER...A TORNADO WATCH MEANS CONDITIONS ARE FAVORABLE FOR
   TORNADOES AND SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS IN AND CLOSE TO THE WATCH
   AREA. PERSONS IN THESE AREAS SHOULD BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR
   THREATENING WEATHER CONDITIONS AND LISTEN FOR LATER STATEMENTS
   AND POSSIBLE WARNINGS.
