   SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH NUMBER 303
   NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER NORMAN OK
   155 PM MDT TUE JUN 16 2015

   THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A

   * SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF 
     WESTERN NEBRASKA PANHANDLE
     SOUTHWEST SOUTH DAKOTA
     CENTRAL AND EASTERN WYOMING

   * EFFECTIVE THIS TUESDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING FROM 155 PM UNTIL
     900 PM MDT.

   * PRIMARY THREATS INCLUDE...
     SCATTERED LARGE HAIL LIKELY WITH ISOLATED VERY LARGE HAIL EVENTS
       TO 2.5 INCHES IN DIAMETER POSSIBLE
     SCATTERED DAMAGING WIND GUSTS TO 70 MPH POSSIBLE
     A TORNADO OR TWO POSSIBLE

   SUMMARY...THUNDERSTORMS NOW FORMING OVER THE HIGHER TERRAIN OF N
   CENTRAL...E CENTRAL...AND SE WY EXPECTED TO JOINED BY ADDITIONAL
   STORMS FORMING ALONG COLD FRONT IN NE WY AND SW SD. SOME OF THE
   STORMS COULD BECOME SUPERCELLS WITH A RISK FOR VERY LARGE
   HAIL...HIGH WIND...AND POSSIBLY A COUPLE TORNADOES.

   THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 115
   STATUTE MILES EAST AND WEST OF A LINE FROM 15 MILES WEST
   NORTHWEST OF GILLETTE WYOMING TO 15 MILES SOUTHEAST OF CHEYENNE
   WYOMING.  FOR A COMPLETE DEPICTION OF THE WATCH SEE THE

   PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

   REMEMBER...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH MEANS CONDITIONS ARE
   FAVORABLE FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS IN AND CLOSE TO THE WATCH
   AREA. PERSONS IN THESE AREAS SHOULD BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR
   THREATENING WEATHER CONDITIONS AND LISTEN FOR LATER STATEMENTS
   AND POSSIBLE WARNINGS. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY
   DO PRODUCE TORNADOES.
